Resort-by-resort accessibility notes for Las Vegas: walking distances, ADA rooms, scooter storage and charging, and how to get a mobility scooter delivered to your hotel.
Why distance matters on the Strip
Las Vegas resorts look close together, but a single block on the Strip can be a quarter mile, and getting from your room to a show inside the same property is often another half mile of casino floor. Visitors routinely walk five to eight miles a day without planning to. That's the reason mobility scooter rentals are so common here — even for people who don't use mobility aids at home.

Scooter storage and charging
Nearly every major Strip resort will store a mobility scooter at the bell desk at no charge, and most will let you charge it there overnight. If you'd rather keep it in your room, standard Las Vegas rooms have enough space near the entry closet; charging takes six to eight hours from empty and the charger plugs into any normal outlet.
Before-you-arrive checklist
- Request an ADA/accessible room at booking — roll-in showers go fast during conventions.
- Confirm there is an outlet near where you'll park the scooter overnight for charging.
- Ask the bell desk about scooter storage policy; most Strip resorts store them free.
- Plan on pedestrian bridges: they all have elevators, but elevators can be slow at peak hours.
- Book delivery to the bell desk so your scooter is waiting when you check in.
